Dr. Amy K. Boscia
For over 15 years, Dr. Amy K. Boscia has served patients in the Finger Lakes region. In 2014, she opened Ithaca Eye Care to provide the highest quality eye care in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. Dr. Boscia's dedication to her patients ensures that she takes time to understand your individual needs developing the best possible eye care treatment.
Dr. Boscia earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She is trained in a variety of optometric fields, including vision development and pediatrics, neuro-optometric care, brain injury, syntonic photo light therapy, and vision therapy. In the fall 2016, she completed a course at the Vision Specialist Institute in Detroit, Michigan, and was certified in a specialized micro-prism treatment that only 15 optometrists can do in the United States.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, New York State Optometric Association, Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), The College of Syntonic Optometry and The Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA).
Dr. Boscia is a native of northern Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), she was enrolled in an accelerated program and accepted a year early for optometry school. She graduated with honors, receiving a B.S. in Natural Science and Mathematics.
She and her husband, Ted, live in Ithaca with their two boys and dog. They enjoy being outdoors in the beautiful Finger Lakes.
